MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND GREENWIRE

Nick Jones -Director/ Electrician

Since becoming a qualified electrician in 2010, Nick has built an impressive career across Australia and around the globe. Early in his journey, he toured nationally with the How to Train Your Dragon Arena Spectacular, contributing to large-scale technical builds. His skills then took him to Russia, where he joined the automation team for the 2014 Winter Olympics opening ceremony, followed by involvement in major sporting events and ceremonies across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Indonesia, and Qatar - including the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Back in Australia, Nick has most recently worked in the mining sector as a FIFO Project Supervisor, delivering complex electrical and communications infrastructure at sites such as Olympic Dam, Carrapateena, Iluka, and Prominent Hill. His broad expertise, leadership, and global perspective bring enormous value to GreenWire and the projects we take on.

Nick likes to escape the daily grind on camping trips with his family and exploring the outdoors with his son Freddy. He’s equally at home in his shed, where he restores, builds, and tinkers to his heart’s content, always chasing a new project or idea.

John Khammash -Director/ Security & Structured Cable Specialist

With over two decades of industry experience, John has been operating as a one-man band since 2005, delivering end-to-end solutions across data, security, and telecommunications. His skill set spans everything from hands-on installation to backend system programming, making him a true all-rounder in the field.

John is highly proficient in fibre optic and wireless technologies, with a strong focus on precision, reliability, and technical excellence. Known for his ability to troubleshoot complex issues and find practical, effective solutions, he brings a calm, patient and confident approach to every project.

When he’s not working, John is immersed in home renovations. If he’s not building, he loves getting away for camping trips and off-road adventures with friends & his wife, Eboney.

John is happiest in the shed restoring, building & tinkering with anything Datsun or Nissan.

Eboney Khammash -Business Manager

With a background in commercial construction dating back to 2010 - primarily in HVAC - Eboney brings a wealth of experience to the operational side of the business. Over the years, she has developed strong capabilities in business administration, compliance, and backend systems, ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Her attention to detail, organisational skills, and deep understanding of industry processes make her a vital part of the GreenWire team, supporting both project delivery and long-term business growth.

In her spare time, Eboney enjoys dreaming up the next home renovation, cultivating her garden, and tending to her bees.

She loves cooking, spending time outdoors with her husband John, and embracing all things homestead -finding joy in creating and nurturing her space.
